Britney Spears is a woman of many talents. Not only is she a pop icon, a modern day Renoir, and our communism Queen, she’s also a film critic. Britney gave her review of the cinematic CGI dingle Dolittle and her opinion is opposite of what most critics said. But who needs those film snobs to tell us about good cinéma?! We have the Siskel & Ebert of 2020: Brit & Brit!
Dolittle, which stars Robert Downey Jr. and includes a scene where he gives a dragon an enema (so something for you bestiality scat queens), has a 15% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes (it has an audience score of 76%). Time Out said this about it:
Another Doctor Dolittle adaptation, another apology owing to the animal kingdom.
Well, Brit Brit gave it five out of five Frapps. Britney reviewed Doolittle on her Instagram and praised its script and visuals! The animals are hilarious! And there’s a “Special Tone throughout”! But she does have a warning for people:
“If you watch this movie and you’re as enamored as I was with his jackets and clothing… don’t get lost like I did. …Just remember he’s a man who can speak to animals and he’s brilliant.”
Right, of course a movie about talking animals would be confusing if you were to forget the main character can indeed speak with animals. But it’s possible to forget that blatant fact when you’re too busy getting lost in the sweet Victorian pimp look that RDJ is working in the movie:
Victorian Dollar Store Pimp aesthetic and Britney Spears’ stamp of approval? I may have to watch this…. if there’s absolutely nothing else to watch, like a turd circling the toilet.
