Have you ever been to a sports game and cringed at the thought of dropping $18 on a room-temperature hot dog of questionable origin and a pretzel that tastes like a baking soda-glazed cork? Well, the next time you attend the event of your choice, you should take a cue from this Australia football fan and BYOECACB (bring your own elaborate cheese and charcuterie board).

Mashable points to a tweet made yesterday at a game between the Melbourne Demons and St Kilda Football Club showing a Demons fan workin’ on his night cheese during the day. According to Melbourne’s The Age, his name is Ned Trumble. He’s got two wooden boards filled with cheese, meat, olives, an avocado (millennials and their avocados, am I right?), and a baguette. According to a Reddit user claiming to be Fancy Cheese Ned’s friend, he also had a whole salmon in his bag.

Here’s a better look at the spread:

Ned says he did it after a friend suggested he “take it up to another level,” and describes himself as a foodie.

“Well, you know, if a Melbourne Demons supporter is a stereotype of someone who enjoys the good things in life and has a refined palate then so be it,” Mr Trumble said.

Fancy Cheese Ned clearly appreciates the finer things in life. I mean, that tasteful and timeless bucket hat should have been your first clue. The only thing missing is a small thermos of wine that he smuggled into the stadium in the crotch of his pants. I wonder what would compliment a blue-based cheese and the scent of all those bird turds lining the railing in front of him? I’m guessing probably a shiraz.
