It’s Friday and the world is falling apart even more, so let’s use whatever energy we have left to pay homage to this squirrel eating a taco in a tree in Brooklyn. Twitter user @MariaBianchi tweeted this Wildlife Photo of the Year with the words, “Move over, Pizza Rat.” I’m with Maria, Taco Squirrel has truly shown Pizza Rat up. Because dragging a piece of pizza down subway stairs seems so much easier than carrying a taco up a tree. That is a fucking feat!
Squirrels don’t know what the internet is and they definitely don’t know any slang for human vagina, but I’m going to choose to believe that this squirrel does and decided to fuck with us humans. The squirrel made sure it got photographed holding a taco, because it knew it’d end up on Twitter and then dozens of content thirsty blogs would post the picture. And that would lead to humans getting blue balls after Googling “squirrel on taco” and finding that picture instead of a picture of a furry cooch bumping up against another cooch. Taco Squirrel’s a genius.
