We all know her as a model, actress, and owner of $2 million dollar legs, but did you also know that Heidi Klum can also sing? If you count breathy autotune as singing then Heidi is a bona fide vocalist! Last month, Heidi released a dance ditty with the man who cannot say no to a paycheck, Snoop Dogg. If you’re looking for a masterclass in posing featuring singing, then the redundantly titled Chai Tea with Heidi is for you!
Heidi-heads have been awaiting her comeback since Wonderland was released in 2006. Autotune has come a long way since then, so she’s trying again! via New York Post:
The supermodel, 48, can be seen writhing up against the rapper, 50, in the dance track, which marks her first musical venture in 16 years.
The black-and-white clip was filmed on location in Los Angeles and Greece and sees Klum flaunting her flawless figure in a range of risqué outfits.
“It was truly an honor to collaborate with so many amazing people to create this fun and upbeat music video,” Klum said in a statement sent to The Post via her PR team. “I am still pinching myself to make sure this really happened.”
According to Heidi, the song began as a humble theme tune to Germany’s Next Top Model, but once Snoop was brought on board, it morphed into a full-blown music video. Now that you’ve read the backstory, get ready to transport your ears to another world!
After listening through at least three times, my favorite line is “yes yes yes yes yes!” Did Snoop Dogg write that inspired line himself? If so, it’s *chef’s kiss*. Combined with Heidi’s top-tier posing and arm-dancing that rivals Britney Spears, Chai Tea With Heidi is sure to be this year’s Club Med hit!
