It’s that time of year where the weather is getting chillier, Mariah Carey is raking in the cash, and we’re starting to drown in the deluge of made-for-TV holiday movies. And who better to make our Christmases bright and gay than Lindsay Lohan! In case you missed this earth-shattering news, Lindsay is back from her self-appointed exile in Europe and Dubai (we could only stay lucky for so long) and is slated to star in Netflix’s holiday-themed movie, “Untitled Holiday Rom-Com!” Yeah, they still haven’t named the thing, so you know it’s going to be film excellence.
According to Variety, Lohan will be playing a “newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress who gets amnesia after a skiing accident and finds herself in the care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner and his precocious daughter in the days leading up to Christmas.” This film sounds like it’s really nailed “bad Christmas rom-com” on the head. Can you be blue-collar and OWN A LODGE?! Lindsay will star alongside Chord Overstreet. (Yes, that’s his name and not one made up for a Hallmark movie character.) To drum up interest in cinematic mediocrity, Netflix dropped an exciting sneak peek of the film.

It’s a smart move from Lindsay to star in a Christmas film. Dina Lohan already has the soundtrack pressed and packaged! If you decide to tune in, keep your ears open for the inevitable appearance of the Christmas masterpiece, Lohan Holiday. It’s not Christmas until this classic plays!
