Ahhh, owls. With their big eyes, round faces, and impressive hunting skills, these feathery cuties are basically the kitty cats of the sky. Except way rarer, meaning an owl sighting is so, so special. This is why it was such a big deal that three wee owls decided to bless one family with their presence. The humans had just moved into a new house, and to welcome them to the neighborhood, the owls flew down to their front porch to put on a show for their doorbell camera. They hopped, they bopped, they fought over a bug, and then two of the three got into a staring contest with the camera. Either the lil’ hooters deduced that they were being filmed or they were trying to figure out if the camera was something they could eat. “Where is its tail?”

The video was uploaded by the doorbell camera company, Ring. The homeowner, Lyndsay, was extremely enthusiastic about her new owl friends:

“Anyone who knows me knows that I absolutely LOVE owls, I have owl decor all over the inside of my home,” Lyndsay says. “These owls had so much personality! They were so wide-eyed peeking at the camera! One stole a bug the other had dropped and the third owl was a free spirit doing its own thing.”

Here’s the video:

If I was Lyndsay, I’d be hiding on my porch every single night disguised as a bush, just praying that the owls will return. I don’t care if it takes a full year of nightly stakeouts, I will see the sky kitties in the flesh feather!
