Madonna continued her Benjamin Button regression into her twenties by getting her very first tattoo. I know! I keep forgetting that back in the day tattoos were just a thing for sailors, bikers, hippies, punks, and Cher. Madge’s new tat is text on her wrist that honors all six of her children. It says: “L R D M S E” (Lourdes, 24, Rocco, 20, David, 15, Mercy, 14, Stella, 8 and Estere, 8). She posted a series of pics of the experience, and even made a “Like A Virgin” pun for the caption: “Inked for The Very First Time”. Like a virrrrrrgiiin! Feel that needle, Stab my wrist bone…

Madonna got inked by a tattoo artist names East Iz at the Shamrock Social Club in Hollywood. Hollywood… Hollywood …California? So in a pandemic year, Madge has been in London, New York, Jamaica, and now the West Coast (and that’s only the trips we know about). That’s more traveling than I’ve done in the last five years, but I guess richies (not a ref to her ex Guy Ritchie, I mean like rich people a la Ri¢hie Ri¢h) have a different set of rules.
As for the tattoo itself, it’s minimalist and I kinda like it. Also, for Madge, it’s about family. Unless…it doesn’t stand for her kids’ names like we’re assuming? L R D M S E. Hmmmm… Let Rich Daddy Madonna Schtup Everyone? OK, sure.
