At long last, we are treated to the real From Russia With Love, and not that silly James Bond offering from 1963. According to the The Daily Mail, the most discerning pussy in all of Moscow, no matter what you’ve heard, past or present, is Belyash the cat.

Belyash the cat, from Moscow, cannot stand sour cream, according to its owners. In a video showing the fluffy white moggy sitting on a patterned blanket, its owner places an opened pot in front of it. The cat appears to have a concerned expression as the pot is brought towards it – even looking away. But its natural curiosity means it can’t resist leaning in to give the substance a sniff.
As you can see in this clip, Belyash has captured in 6 poignant seconds what we’ve taken 11 months of 2020 to experience and has done it with a seasoned, horrified brilliance that puts even Joan Crawford’s best efforts to shame.
Believe it or not, there are some detractors commenting that subjecting a cat to something it loathes is cruel. To that, I have to ask if they’ve ever had the occasion to meet up with a cat? Cats live to judge the hell out of humans and their stupid inventions, and this one in particular would make that face even if her human’s hand were empty!
