Brad Pitt has a lot of tattoos including: Angelina’s birthday on his torso, a large set of lines on his back, which Angie apparently drew herself randomly one night (how romantic, except then you remember all that brutal divorce stuff), and he has a long cross with initials for Angie and all their kids in it on his right forearm, and he has Ötzi the Iceman on his left forearm. Maybe he has more, but I don’t know his body like that. I could though… I’m not saying I’m opposed to it, I’m just saying that I’m not privy to that information at this time.
So the new tattoo is another man-type tattoo, this time of a dude and his shadow.

Brad is in Italy for the 76th annual Venice Film Festival promoting his new movie Ad Astra, which also stars Tommy Lee Jones, and Donald Sutherland. And that’s where the tattoo came out for us thanks to some short sleeves on a gondola. The text next to the man is based off of a 13th century romantic poem by Rumi and was meant for Angelina. God, can people not get tattoos willy-nilly like this! It’s the same story! The cursive writing reads:
“There exists a field, beyond all notions of right and wrong. I will meet you there.”
Well that’s cute, and also very sweet but like this is all to commemorate a woman who you sort of helped publicly paint as a dragon bitch from Hades. I guess emotions are like that: strong, you know? Like he loved her so passionately so now he hates her just as much. How tragique. Oh well, lucky for Brad people are forgetting how to read cursive writing anyway, so in a few years he can just say it says: “Live. Laugh. Love.” or some shit.
