Bostonians catch a lot of flak for their iconic accents. No one pahks the cah in the Hahvahd Yahd better! Unfortunately, unless you’re cast in a Scorsese special, when you’re on TV, you gotta sound more Dan Rather and less Mark Wahlberg. But sometimes the sound slips, like it did for this news anchor.
While reporting on some boring news, WWLP-22News reporter Ellen Fleming spiced things up by revealing that she was a tried and true Masshole! She uploaded her Mass-take for the world to see, giving people a lesson in the proper way to say “New Hampshire.”

America is a land of many peoples from all over the world, so I say let the regional accents fly! According to Uproxx, although Ellen was raised in Braintree, Ellen’s parents are from Dorchester, so she picked up the classic accent from them. Well, they DO say that you can take the person out of Boston, but you can’t take the Boston out of the person. Let’s not forget the best case in point:
